Batman: Heart Of Hush
Hush decides to strike at Batman when he finds out the Black Glove could get him first. Not written by Paul Dini instead, this stands out as a very exciting side story as opposed to Morrison's not-beginner-friendly Batman epic. So what has Hush been doing all this time?
We all like to forget "Hush Returns" ever happened, so this is a much better sequel even it only actually lays the foundations for "Streets Of Gotham." Hush has taken over an abandoned hospital and made homeless people into his zombified surgery minions. Hush once again wants to hit Batman where it hurts most, and in this case, it's Catwoman. Of course, Hush has something much bigger planned under his bandages.
The simplistic, cubist art is great and there isn't much to fault in this story other than the fact that R.I.P. is going on at the same time and Bruce Wayne mentions that Catwoman is the only woman he has ever truly loved, ignoring his current fling with Jezebel Jet and especially the one woman who had his child and whom he nearly gave it all up for, Talia Al Ghul.
RATING:
Batman Story - 8/10
Continuity - 9/10
Art - 10/10
Coolness - 7/10
OVERALL - 8.5/10
