Batman: The Return Of Bruce Wayne
The Return Of Bruce Wayne. Spoiler is in the title. How it happens is much more complicated and worth the ride. A review quote on the cover of the trade itself says "If you don't like this then you don't like comics."
If you've come this far with Morrison's Batman, then you know Bruce has gone insane, shot villain Darkseid with a gun and then got sent back through time to the dawn of man and now must travel through time to come back to the present to stop himself from destroying the universe. Yes, Batman has become a doomsday weapon.
I can't tell much more other than it's a fun read, albeit with a rushed and inconclusive ending that resolves in "Batman Must Die." Whether you understand it or not, you gotta get it to complete the run.
RATING:
Batman Story - 6/10 (It's a Bruce Wayne time travelling story)
Continuity - N/A/10 (meh...)
Art - 8/10
Epicness - 7/10
OVERALL - 7/10
